Having returned from the mission in Antiva, it is time for her to have a talk with a number of people. People who either deserve to know, or who she wants to know. It will be difficult to hide very soon, and they don't deserve to be surprised.

Pel spends most of her time in the library these days, but goes to bed earlier. Her time outside is spent sewing. A piece of linen tape is pinned to the garment she is working on, with the other end of the tape tied to a post by where she sits, so she can hold the garment well up and sew without hunching.

She figures Bethany is a human, therefore privileged, therefore perfectly capable of being happy for her without reservation.

"Pel, that's wonderful! Even in times like this, life finds a way ... how many months until you are due? Do you need help with the baby clothes?"

"Let's see ... good names in general. I've always liked the thought of naming people after dear relatives and friends. Like my son will be named Nathaniel Anders, or Carver Varric. Or both, if I have two sons. I would name one after Fenris but ... well. He rather dislikes his name."

"I like that thought. And I can think of a few people I might want to name a baby after. Something simple that it won't have a hard time pronouncing when it's little. Like Sina, for a girl."

"Sina ... oh, that's pretty." She dimpled at the thought, thinking, "What about a boy?"
