[If ever there was a moment for dramatic musical accompaniment, this would be it. Astride a legendary nuggalope, the ground thundering from the passage of others all around her, Korrin is grinning from ear to ear. They actually managed to pull this off, and it's just starting to sink in that this isn't a fantasy. The guards of the main gates just stop and stare as they approach, as though unable to quite process what they're seeing. For her part, the Vashoth woman laughs and waves, then laughs anew as she glances over to her companions. Sure, they're making a spectacle, but don't they deserve it? No one has brought back nuggalopes, until now.]

C'mon, let's get them to the stables!

[The nuggalope is much larger than his favored mount, but Kain is adjusting, getting used to the way the creature moves. There's something to be said for the heavy, commanding presence that they create, especially a whole group of them like this. Though he's picked one that's apparently very curious about everything, so he does have to stop it from veering off sometimes, or get it going when it stops to sniff random plants.]

[As it's doing right now.]

Come on, now, you just ate. [He pats the nuggalope's side and gives a squeeze of his legs, urging it to move along as would work with smaller mounts. The nuggalope snorts, but finally listens after a moment.]

[That gets Korrin to laugh as she glances over. Hers was difficult to win-over but it was well worth it for such a spirited creature.]

Watch out when you dismount; apparently, they like to chew on hair. I'd hate to see what it'd do to yours.

I have this perfectly under control... dismounting should be far easier than mounting, anyway.

[Kain does look a bit unsure when it comes to his hair, though, which is flowing freely down his back, blowing in the wind at this very moment.]

Perhaps I ought to have tied it back.

Do it when we dismount. I'll try and distract your companion, I still have treats enough to go around.

[As Skyhold fortress grows bigger on the horizon, her smile gets wider.]

I can't wait to see their dumbstruck faces. Especially Horsemaster Dennet's! He didn't believe me.

He certainly does seem amenable to treats. A lot of treats. Or distractions in general.

[It figures, he had to pick the one who keeps getting easily curious about everything. Intelligent creature though.]

I almost didn't believe it either, so I had to see these with my own eyes. [He smirks.] I hope the stables have enough room to accommodate them.

If they don't, we'll make some. The Inquisition can't turn down good mounts.

[She strokes the horns of her magnificent ride, certain they'll be accepted.]

I'll get some Avvar war paints and do them properly.

They certainly can't, and these are mighty ones.

[He still has his preference for the dragon-horses, but even he can't deny how strong these are. He's very much enjoying the ride.]

The war paint will certainly add to their impressiveness. They'll strike fear into the hearts of any enemy who sees them charging in.

And people will think we have an Avvar army backing the Inquisition. There are worse fates.

[She strokes the nuggalope's horns, prompting a grunt as it continues.]

Intimidation is a fine battle tactic, it can unsettle the enemy enough such that they lose their focus. I'd like to see such a reaction someday.

If we're paired up on anything, I promise I'll try to make it happen, just for you.

[She flashes a grin, guiding hers towards the stables and smug in the fact that they're creating quite an audience, as people stop and stare at the creatures.]

You'll help get them settled, right?

Good, I look forward to it.

[Kain rides tall and confident on his mount, now that he's gotten the nuggalope focused on where they're going. Maybe it finally satisfied its curiosity. Or hunger. Or both.]

Of course I will. Anything they might need, I'd be glad to see to.

[He's in the process of seeking a mount anyway, so the stables are sure to be a regular location for him.]
