Cade stops short at the callout, pursing his lips in a frown. Busted.
"...I've just...." he mumbles, looking the creature over with the weary curiosity of one who has seen far too many weird things in his life yet still can't quite accept any of them, "...never seen anything like you before."
He hesitates, and looks down at the steps.
"...or... I have, but... they were trying to kill everyone. And were much larger. ...and... weren't supposed to move at all."
