Sam shrugs again, still a bit uncomfortable with all this talk of heroes. "It seems the world would be a lot better place if no one ever had to be a hero, doesn't it? Let's hope it never comes to it at all, for neither of us!"

He frowns, considering her words. "I wonder if that's why Strider dresses the way he does - all in dark and rags so that you'd never want to get near him, if you didn't know him. I suppose it's easier that way, even if he is a bit frightening."
