"I've been fortunate enough to get into few rooftop duels - the guards all knew that I was faster than them, such is the advantage of being young." As if she's even old but she was younger then, much younger and spoiling for a challenge, laughing all the way home once she'd lost the guards and slipped back into just being a cursed name on their lips. "My father is a sailor, a pirate, he took me out to sea with him because that's what fathers do where I'm from and I learned to scramble up the rigging. At home I went to the ship graveyards and practiced there and well, warm though Castileos is, water is often cold." She presents her hands, not the delicate hands of a lady, instead marked with calluses from her rapiers and pistols, from tying knots and scraping tingling fingertips over rough stone and wood to find purchase. "I trained myself to withstand it because the cold was always worth the rewards in the end."
