After a long day of work and practice, it wasn't unusual for Sam to end up at the tavern. In the past he was here practically daily, but since the beginning of the year he's been less frequent. Every once in a while though he doesn't head straight for his room and instead nurses a drink until he feels ready for bed.

Today had just been one of those days where you needed something to unwind.

Almost immediately after walking in the mage is quick to spot the blue eyed Rifter. He makes sure to go and buy himself a drink first before he approaches though, since he knows that once he's sat down with Kirk, he would be rather distracted.

"Is this spot taken?"
