Bethany looked up at her, her heart aching, before she reached out to put her hand over the other woman's and squeezed hard. "You stood strong against the darkness -- and then you came here. I can't imagine anything braver than surviving all that."

A deep sigh, as she folded her fingers tighter. "I was in Fereldan at the beginning of the Blight, and then I was in Kirkwall when it all fell apart. I think I would have gone through all those gladly -- not to lose the lives we have."
