He'll have to thank Anamaria for the shot later, rolling his shoulder a bit from the impact of the blade against his own - damn those guys were strong. Momentarily free of incoming attacks Sam goes about helping Bruce renewing barriers all around so that the other isn't shouldering all the work.

It's at that point that Sam hears a call for healing, though it takes him a moment to spot where the call is coming from, and longer still to see who needed it. His eyes find Christine, which has him giving a sigh, knowing that she had them at the moment. He's just about to make his way over when he hears something charge, Fortitude buzzing in the back of his mind once more. Immediately Sam turns though before he can even finish doing so his body locks up.

The the pain is excruciating, but the electricity locking up his body prevents him from even yelling out. The attack doesn't last all that long, but it certainly brings him to his knees, shaking and gasping for breath, his body refusing to move. He certainly doesn't appreciate being fried - the smell of burning hair and leather is not good.
