Lingering at the doorway is no longer an option. In a moment Herian is back inside the room, placing herself in front of Adelaide. She would do whatever was necessary to protect all here, but before all of them she would protect Adelaide's life. They had come to far from the Spire, even if it was separately, for her to stand by and let harm befall her.
