Traps have been endured, Venatori have been slain, and there is the distant sound of the ground river that leads to the external waterfall echoing up from the mine below. Just how deep and tangled these dungeons might go is a mystery.

The dungeon where the missing party is held is dark, and smells of rotting straw and sickness. The room is cold, its two lanterns offering precious little in the way of light let alone heat, and the inhabitants are all shackled to the walls with long, heavy chains. Some will still suffering the effects of lyrium very badly, others are doing a little better, but they are all of them in need of water. (A barrel sits in one of the corners with wooden cups, but is out of reach of all the shard bearers.)

Simple enough to gather them up and move, but—
