Well if it was anything like stunning the demons he imagined it also involved holding his hand up and just waiting for it to close. Something he could do. Thrusting his hand up into the air, he focused on the rift and watched the connection take place, felt the pain surging through his arm. Not once did he flinch though and not once did he show signs of the way it coursed through him until at last that rift closed.

Lowering his hand, he opened and closed it a few times, honestly impressed. "That's quite the new trick I have."
