Eventually her left wrist will bend like it should - Araceli's broken both wrists badly enough to have the bone come through and that never happened - but it's frustrating. Relying on other people. Feeling useless, and helpless. For now she's grateful to Pel for coming to see her, helping with her hair because leaving it to frizz or tangle or look like a mess would make her feel worse, and that would make her more snappish than she has been.

(The healers are more fond of Araceli when she's amusing other patients with her antics, or fetching and carrying. A model patient she is not.)

Waving her left hand a little better than the last visit, she smiles. "Hola Pel, what have you brought today?"
