His first thought, as ever, is that he is in trouble. Not because of anything in particular, just that he has come to expect that the Dalish women of his clan smiling at him like that generally means he's about to be hit over the head. But once she's closer, and the smile hasn't faded, his ears prick and he tilts his head.
