"When I died many years ago the power of the Holy Grail accepted my accomplishments in life and deemed me a Heroic Spirit. During appropriate times a mage might have the chance to summon me to a war between mages to gain the chance to have the heart's truest wish granted by the Holy Grail. I was summoned during one of these wars by a boy named Waver Velvet. He is English like yourself but he called upon me in Japan. Being able to walk in a modern era allowed me the chance to read of my histories while being a Heroic Spirit infuses me with knowledge that allows me to blend into the world more easily should I wish to do so."
