It's still odd to think of someone being from a time so far before hers that it's literally ancient history, and odder still when the person in question seems to have a workable knowledge of the modern world as Hermione knows it. But she's becoming increasingly desensitized to odd; it's one of the many things she's grown less sensitive about, and at least that's one of the more acceptable things to steadily grow comfortable with.

The status quo of Thedas with regards to its treatment of anyone who isn't a non-magical human, though? She's not really about to become comfortable with that anytime soon.

"Relations between humans and the rest of the world can generally stand to be improved," she notes carefully. "Skyhold is largely accepting, from what I've found, but I've seen some rather... unfortunate behavior towards elves, Qunari, mages - human or otherwise - ... and rifters like us. The history is tense and complicated, and I understand that, but they can certainly stand to move past their history and put a bit more focus into their future."
