She's just pessimistic enough to not believe for a moment that Bruce is right and that Corypheus' defeat will help usher in some sort of golden age, but she's not quite so much of a pessimist that she'll blatantly say as much.

Perhaps. I don't see how not everyone can want change when things are as bad as all this - aside from most of the Orlesians, I suppose, since they seem to be happy enough with their "Game". But war does have a way of bringing people together that wouldn't ordinarily team up with one another. I just wish it didn't seem to be doing the opposite here and driving people further apart.
