Corvo leans more on the opposite side of things--people can't be trusted until they prove otherwise, and even then. They might just try to kill you anyway. But...despite his usual paranoia, it was impressively difficult to not feel some manner of goodwill for the other man. Perhaps it was just because Iskandar acted with such natural camaraderie?
