Adjacent buildings with very different purposes, the Tanner and Perfumer are often seen arguing behind one of their buildings- usually about off cuts of leather ending up near storage vats of valuable fat- or floral and herb stems ending up near the sealed bins of tanning liquid. Both buildings are locked up at night and neither have any assistants for their work, preferring solitude. There are, of course, rumors of some manner of romantic involvement hidden under the arguments- though one of the House Maids will let slip that she'd seen the Tanner go after the Perfumer with a knife at least once before.
