"No, I haven't," he agreed, watching the way the other interacted with the animal and feeling a touch jealous. It was something else to see someone be so connected with another living thing, and in ways it made him think of the Enterprise, his beloved silver lady. He felt a pang for her, for his home and his family, but shoved it back quickly. It didn't help him here.
"I will take your word for it - and be careful when you are not," he promised.
He grunted when the other kitten decided it did not like being in back with a sibling in front and leapt to his shoulder. He huffed at the creature, reaching up to scratch at Nikita's chest.
"You have the same personality no matter what though, the both of you," he accepted a head butt from the kitten.
