Politics tended to affect the merchants around here. Seemed like everything did, which was endlessly frustrating for someone like Kirk. Especially since he saw the entirety of this civil war as nothing but a giant pageant played out for egos, and the only people really suffering were the refugees, the common folk. From what he could see, the nobles were hardly touched by it at all and it turned his stomach.
Kirk pursed his lips, thinking. "You've seen the refugee camp, right? They could use help, no doubt. Might not be immediately profitable, but it'll earn you a good reputation and that's always good for business. There's missions going in and out all the time through the Inquisition." He patted the little satchel the man had just given him. "Good medicine that works will be greatly appreciated."
