Yes, a doctor would be helpful, but those were in short supply. Medicine, at least, could go a ways in helping ease some of their immediate problems, and alleviating pains. It would be small, a bandage at best, but that was better than letting the wounds fester.

Besides, if you were them, would you really want a bunch of strangers being dumped through Rifts wandering around doing who knows what with that kind of power in our hands?
