As a dwarf only two-some years out from the Stone, Rachette has yet to really take a couple things to heart, things that one should really do now and again.
Looking up is one of them. Looking up means...the sky. The clouds. The weather. It just...keeps going up and up. She's mostly gotten over the worry that her feet will leave the ground and then never touch it again, but then, she also doesn't spend much time looking up at anything other than people and occasionally her surroundings.
So for a griffon to suddenly land not five feet away with a sudden rush of hair, she dives into a roll, coming up on a knee and having her dagger at the ready, clearly startled but ready for anything!
...Not guy-that-looks-kind-of-like-Kain-and-is-also-named-Kain-but-isn't-Rifter-Kain. She is not ready for that or for the settling griffon. "Where did you come from?"
