"Fine, I suppose you're entitled to never let me forget it." Chopping vegetables? That she can do without a fuss. If anything, previous cooking time has made her more efficient in that area. Besides, her feet don't ache for now; in a few hours, it will be a different story and she'll be in dire need of something to soak them in. It's too bad they couldn't take the hot springs with them.

She nods a little while chopping, her smile fading as it's a fact that Kirkwall is definitely not among her favorite places. The fact that she can't even tell herself it's a short-term thing doesn't help, either. "I'm glad for your sake, kadan. You don't need to tell me how you needed ships and sea air, I could see it in your eyes every time we had to leave Val Royeaux or Jader or some other coastal place. A frigid fortress in the south wasn't the place for you, or me."

But....

"...I'd be lying if I said it's easy to be here. At least I haven't seen the formation of a mob -yet- but we're walking on eggshells here and I know it. I've gotten looks, but I don't give a shit if they just look, and I've heard slurs all my life." It's what else they might do, and who might get caught in the backlash, that has Korrin doing her best to behave herself and not invite trouble. "What worries me more is the Veil and how fucking thin it is here, all over the place but especially where the Circle mages lived. One more reason to never, ever live at the Gallows." It's Circle mage hell, why would she want anything to do with it? Enough said.
