"Where I come from," Araceli continues without missing a beat because it might be better to try to distract him since she isn't ignorant about what Anders being in Kirkwall means (it's a headache brewing that she tries not to think about, she'll deal with sailors and everyother bit of paperwork or all other worries about reputation first). "We give our bodies to the sea when we die, it's considered to be part of something far greater than ourselves. They're letting you know that you're welcome if you don't like the wasteful Andrastian way."
Don't repeat the last bit, that's strict confidence but the treatment of the dead by the Chantry is nothing short of a distgrace, the Chantry has been doing it wrong from the start, sincerely Araceli Bonaventura y Castell.
"So long as they could get ships in and out, would they care? Some of the markets are in Lowtown but more of them are in Hightown, why would they pay for things like that? If they had other concerns too, they'd ignore it until ships refused to dock or they added extra fees for damages." Some have, they've just been careful in how they've done it and she's not going to out them unless it becomes the Inquisition's problem because this is probably going to get them in the good graces of said folk for the future.
