This area of the Hinterlands is on the jaggedy side, as many rocks as there are rolling hills, and right now, some of those rolling hills are also on fire. It might be an upgrade, considering they're normally bristling with bears. Or it might be a downgrade if you're flammable.

Which, since nobody thought to bring a golem along, the whole team is. At least there's no cat along for this trip?

The reports have the dragon in the Northern section, through a cave/outcropping thing, and while it's a bit of a trek to get out there, it's obvious this is indeed dragon territory. A few dragonlings wander the area, there's smoke and ash, there's fire, and sure enough, there's a whooshing of wings overhead. \
