The Elven Artifacts Laboratory is housed in a wide room with a high ceiling and tall (cross-barred, for now) windows. There are area rugs that at least complement the bright colors of the drapery. There are shelves containing the artifacts that have been collected, and a card catalog detailing what is where and how it is labeled. Signs have been placed on every set of shelves and read the following:
VISITORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO TOUCH ANYTHING WITHOUT SUPERVISION BY A PROJECT MEMBER
There are a number of sizable work tables. Large journals are provided for recording results. At one end of the room is a locked and magically sealed door, beyond which is a smaller room containing the artifacts that are especially dangerous, precious, or untested.
One of the tables has an array of simple snacks and plenty of tea, always hot due to a fire glyph directly underneath. There are chairs placed in a circle, one for each team member.

"Lady Nightingale's agents have discovered Corypheus' people ransacking elven ruins. For now, we've been told to prioritize finding the locations of the remaining eluvians to keep them out of his hands. Most of you will be working on that at least part-time, and some of you will be exploring the ruins he has abandoned to reckon out whether he is indeed looking for the eluvians or whether it's something else we haven't thought of. We can use the Lights of Arlathan to help, but we only have three. That only covers a certain range. The dwarves of Kal-sharok probably have more, but they're holding them as bargaining tools in a bid for an alliance."
She looks in turn at Morrigan and Merrill. "What are we facing, theoretically, if Corypheus gets his hands on an eluvian? And how would you two suggest using the ones we have to our best advantage?"

For a moment it seemed he lost his train of thought. He stared up at the ceiling, his expression absent minded. Then he remembered he hadn't actually finished his sentence. Right.
"...What do they do?"

There was a moment's pause, and then he continued.
"Is it known which ruins he's been to thus far?"
