"I know, trust me, I know," he nodded. "Good men have a hard time looking away from every injustice they see, but that ends up spreading us pretty thing, right?" he smiled tightly. "But when we focus on fixing one wrong, it seems to me that many more tend to get fixed in its wake - unable to support themselves without the other. Doesn't work every time, but - better to fix one than none, yeah?"

He smiled softer at James and gave him a fist-bump on the shoulder in that brotherly sort of way. "No problem. I've been told pep talks are my specialty."
