Much of how Kieran speaks is an unfortunate consequence of Morrigan's blood meeting Alistair's blood filtered through all the years of Morrigan raising him given how she herself was raised; some things are just a part of them and this way of telling stories might be older than the stories Flemeth told her for the way they were told to her.

She smiles though because Ellana isn't a girl but she's young in that way anyone is who hasn't lived through certain terrible things. "I would not take the Tale of the Champion as a great source of truth but I believe. I believe in what I have seen. What you have seen." Morrigan tucks herself closer, lowers her voice with a glance around for those who might be listening. "Such beings as those that made the eluvians and what lies beyond?
