Kain is very obviously exhausted, half-collapsing, but then steadying himself as he staggers toward the fallen dragon. He reaches out to touch it for a moment. This… this is how it should have gone down in the first place. Still, what an intense rush this was, and still is in many ways. His wounds aren’t as bad this time, too, so while taking it easy will be important for the next few days… it won’t set him back for a month like it did before.
"Finally… we did it… We really did it."
Kain looks over at Inessa. He won’t outright ask for healing, though it’s clear he needs it. He’s just still… really, really pleased, reveling in the aftermath of this battle. After all of this time… it feels so good to accomplish this.
"It’s really done." He limps over toward them. "I hardly believe it…"
