faithlikeaseed: (pb - no this is a good idea)

"All right," Myr says in a conspiratorial voice, "so tell me what we've got..."

Even though there's precious little help he can be, the elf at least makes an effort in being involved in the game on Cade's side. Whenever he's got an idea of what Kit's played, he's there with a suggestion for taking the trick, demonstrating a surprising memory for what has and hasn't already been taken out of play, and what's remaining in whose hand. (He'd be fantastic at Wicked Grace, if it weren't for the missing eyes.) When they--well, mostly Cade, or entirely Cade--take the first game, Myr gives Kit's direction a mock-smug grin. Can he pick 'em or what?

Whatever little help his card-counting might've been in the first game it doesn't carry them in the second, possibly because he's a little distracted by Kit's chatter. But that's how it goes.

"Once I've got my glyphs up," he replies, "I'd be glad to." He pauses, then, and directs his next question to Cade: "You all right continuing with me, or should I take myself to the other side of the table and lose one for Kit?"
