Christine gives an amused hum, yet his words remind her of all those serious thoughts she had about the two of them while she was up in the mountains. Being at the hold and so easily fitting into life there had her thinking of the future, and seeing the children running around happy and carefree caused an ache within her again to have children of her own.

"I have heard of the troubles that have developed," she says with a small frown, but she won't discuss it anymore until they're inside. Leading the way up the stairs, she enters their home and sets down her bag before looking around with a content expression. It's good to be back.

"I want to tell you all about my trip, and I want to hear everything that you have been doing here too. But first, let me pour us some mead."
