I. MORNING - ALIENAGE

[The alienage is no different, despite whatever else happens in Kirkwall. It is a desolate, unfortunate place, but Thane has seen many in his life. It doesn't bustle too much, as if there is a mournful air more than usual. Still, there are people tending to their daily lives, reaching for whatever joys they can.

Though Thane stands before a humbly arranged smithy, he still looks too clean to quite belong here for anyone carefully looking. Though he's faced in a way that seems like he's perusing wares, his eyes are glancing over his shoulder in the direction of an elven boy sitting under the alienage's tree, a Dalish ribbon clutched in his hand.

Thane looks thoughtful, as if to consider.]


II. AFTERNOON - HIGHTOWN

[Abruptly, Thane wears clothing suited for a courier, as if to clearly state that he serves another master. In a way, he doesn't look like he doesn't belong in Hightown unnecessarily, as if he's out on a task to deliver a message.

As it is, Thane is standing outside one of the manors, humming to himself.]


III. EVENING - HIGHTOWN

[The contract will be fulfilled.

Thane stands in the shadows, his hood up and mask in the palm of his hand. He's frowning, peering out into the open streets.]

Maker, forgive me this night.

[The mask is worn, and Thane prepares to move toward the manor he'd been observing in the afternoon.]
