Granted, they look clean, and preventing risk of blood loss is the priority right now, but it's not the equipment she'd want to use, usually. Her brain is supplying other less helpful information: cold reduces circulation, cold make skin healing more difficult, the bandage can't be so tight as to limit circulation but it also needs to do its job—
