"Yes," he nods. "I noticed the same, myself. My magic usually never requires that much energy. I think something must have happened when we fell through...whatever it was we fell through." And he assumes that what they fell through consists of some sort of magical substance or energy, itself. Some sort of barrier.
"Quite a lot, usually," he says. "Charms, transfiguration spells, enchantments, among others. I'm lucky to have my wand with me, but my magic...doesn't always work here."
