After encountering Kylo Ren the late morning and hearing something surprising to him. Poe couldn't shake the frustrated feelings away. The Gallows seemed to be the safest bet to linger around. He found a few practice dummies that were padded enough to throw a few punches at along with kicks. Any time he had been frustrated in the past doing these particular exercises helped. He would find himself in the work out area of the base on D’Qar in a similar way. BB-8 was always a good listener when he was in these moods. It helped to clear his mind or put it onto the path he needed to go. Right now, he didn't truly have anyone that could come close. Sometimes he needed to tell everything to someone maybe someday he’ll find the person here. Rey is someone he’s trying to get to know yet. He knows that he can trust her, even if things become complicated. The people he met wouldn't fully understand and he wouldn't bother them with it. If anything he’s hoping he can punch his frustrations out.

His punches hit harder than intended but it’s helping with every connection on the dummy. There’s a round of quick jabs before giving it a sidekick. Poe isn't sure for how long he’s been at it, but all of his focus is on the hits. It’s the same rotation before he changes it up slightly, putting in low hits with a few high ones.

He finally takes a minute to catch his breath after giving the dummy a few more swift kicks. The words of what Kylo Ren told him still echoing. The son of Leia and Han. Poe could only feel that slight doubt forming in the pit of his gut. It wasn't the first time he has felt these things. But the question floating in his mind would not be answered. He would have to continue moving forward. Poe wipes off the building sweat from his forehead before getting back into position in front of the dummy.
