Kain can't help but smile widely himself as he turns to face Nathaniel. He doesn't normally get this emotional, but his battle-related skills are something he truly takes pride in, so he's much more excited than usual.

"Thank you, Senior Warden. Maybe this is one small way to finally let us Wardens be seen in a positive light." He nods agreement, thinking about the past Tournies he's either spectated at or ridden in. He's definitely never done this well at this level, though he'd had a couple of decent showings at smaller-scale events back home. It's never an easy feat, though. "I almost don't believe it, myself. I had some tough opponents out there... especially those last couple of riders."
