Herian laughs quietly, and just— lets herself enjoy this. The closeness, the comfort in it. They've both had so many challenges, and at times Herian has been the challenge, but even amongst all the difficulties and the danger, being with Cosima always makes her feel better. That has only increased these past months. Sharing burdens might not be the worst thing imaginable after all.
