"Spirits often draw upon our strongest emotions," he begins, pausing as the spirit drifts closer. It certainly doesn't seem to seek to do her harm, at least not outright, but it's clear that there is a deep longing in Six that may not necessarily be soothed by the illusion.

Yes, that was probably it. If this spirit took on the form of her god, it must have been attracted by the strength of her faith. That in itself seemed such a sight to behold, that someone could be so devoted to a belief in this way.
