That's at least something Kain is familiar with. The whole Templar versus Mage situation may be completely unusual to him, but facing some ultimate evil threat like that... that's something he knows how to handle.

"All the more reason to be rid of him soon. Having fought a couple of threats just as powerful... I'm prepared to face this one." It may not be his world, but it doesn't matter, something so horrific like that has to be destroyed. Sometimes he wonders if he ended up here intentionally... though that really doesn't make much sense.
