Edgard is laughing gleefully as they launch forward. Edgard knows his horse is fast and can't be caught. He turns his head backward to see Erik and his horse move into a gallop and whoops his approval. He is still looking backward when his horse runs him under a tree.

He turns his head around to hit his forehead with a smack. The world goes slow motion until the ground reaches up to pull him down.

Edgard's horse keeps going.
