Yeah. I think it's like when you upload a copy of a file to the cloud and then download it on another machine. The files were perfectly identical when you copied them, but any changes you make on the new machine ... now they're slightly different. It's not a perfect analogy, obviously, but it's a different phenomenon than any of the ways you get copies in nature. Identical twins. Or even clones.

It's strange. It's even stranger the second time because it's like ... I have all the stuff that happened to the original me in between added in, but also that version of me didn't remember the Thedas stuff so like ... the timeline's weird to subjectively experience. I'm doing OK but. Like you said: whiplash.
