It's probably not fair to Allumin to have two very intensely focused set of eyes on him at every moment he speaks, and thus, Loki pays attention to Diabhall when he watches Allumin instead. The other man is very difficult to read, but not because he is hiding his emotional reactions beneath one strong one but because, as far as Loki can tell, there simply aren't many emotional reactions happening.
Fascinating, really. Also, the phrasing of that last comment about getting tied up is i n t e r e s t i n g, to say the very least; Loki is taking mental note.
"Quarantine has to be one of my least favorite aspects of being newly arrived, though it pales a bit when compared to the various ways in which one finds themselves changed upon arrival and also the limitations on one's magical skills as some sort of result." Loki shrugs; what can you do? He's not in charge of it, and he'd like to give the (false) impression that it doesn't bother him that much, not really.
"I once startled Allumin while reading and he nearly took my head off with a book." Smirk. "Never again, as long as there's something for him to hit me with." There's a chuckle, and the current song in play begins to wind down. Allumin's glass is empty and Loki debates summoning a servant to get him another, opts instead for: "Would either of you like to dance?"
