"Are you entirely sure there isn't one? It could be hidden away somewhere just waiting for the right person to find it." Passion is more important than romance in the end though because a life lived with passion is full of stories and satisfaction.

"It's like two parts of me fighting - the thief knows how much she did not wish to be caged, to be presumed guilty first," nevermind that she was guilty, it's still the principle of the thing. "Yet there's another part of me that knows a threat, and that it is best taken care of but they are such extremes. So much here is one or the other, just chopped down the middle and you choose a side and stick to it. I could never do my job living such a way."
