Clarisse is still wrapping her mind around the idea of living inside a stadium (cool), when Abby casually throws out "I was part of a military group in Seattle". She turns and looks at her, almost offended, because why would Abby have never told her that before?

"Why'd you leave?"

I mean, it sounds kind of perfect. A shelter big enough to organize whole neighborhoods in, plus weapons and supplies, presumably. Military.

Clarisse figures if she'd been born in this universe she would've ended up in a place like that, but it doesn't sound so bad. Compared to the place they've been slumming in since they all got here, any place would, though.
