I'm going to PT you until you die!
WHO: Martin Walker and YOU!
WHAT: Captain Walker's going to whip each of you worthless bastards into shape.
WHEN: The next six weeks.
WHERE: Training yard and around Skyhold
NOTES: Language, violence, bootcamp? Basic gist of it is that Walker's been given leave by Cullen to help train the recruits. You will love him, and you will hate him. Do you want to join in? Or are you just going to watch? Go ahead and interact with each other, or Walker or really anyone who wants to comment here.

Assembly
At the crack of dawn, just before the sun rose in the sky and the residents of the hold woke up, Walker had taken it upon himself to...wake up, many of the new recruits. Let's just say many of them will never again enjoy the sounds of their kids banging pots and pans together. EVER.
Walker himself looked rather...well cleaned and proper, he had shaved off his beard that had been growing, along with his hair, cleaned and mended his clothing so that he looked more like a proper officer, and not like somebody who just walked out of hell. "Morning ladies! Starting today I will be your new drill instructor!"
He called out while walking in front of them, eyes judging how they looked, dressed and how they each fell into formation. He's going to have to work on it. "From now on you will refer to me only as Captain Walker, or Sir. If I ask you a question you will answer either "Yes Sir", "No Sir", or "I don't understand Sir"! When I ask you to do something, you will do it!"
He paused in the middle of the formation and glowered at the group. "IS THAT UNDERSTOOD!?"
Morning drill
One of the key components of any proper, fighting force is discipline. The key component of any disciplined, fighting force, either modern or earlier, is that of drill. You can't form a wall if none of your men can huddle together in a proper line. You can't easily move a large group if all of them run into one another, or trip over each others feet.
There was always more to a fit, fighting force than just individual prowess. Each one needs to be able to work with the other. Each one needs to know how to do what the other knows.
Simple, combined arms.
Thus all morning, throughout Skyhold, he would be marching the group around...all morning. Pausing only to allow them bathroom and water breaks. Though he absolutely denied letting any of them have any real, meaningful interactions with people outside of the group.
Afternoon PT
And of course to top it all off, there came PT, Physical Training. The training will be grueling, your feet will have blisters and those blisters will have blisters. Walker will still be constantly yelling and insulting everyone as well; often calling others out about the smallest of mistakes, much like with drill.
Of course this was far more physical, as he had plans to make the group run for four miles, rest, do several dozen push ups and sit ups. And then run another four miles. Each training exercise was focused solely on pushing their body's to their limits, to make them into near Olympic athletes.
It was his hope that each would be able run a mile in under eighteen minutes or less. And they haven't gotten to any combat training yet....
