Benevenuta straightens and studies him for a long moment, the barest hint of a suspicious frown lingering where it doesn't quite become her expression. It's her instinct not to trust that at all - and if he thinks he'll be keeping himself out from underneath her watchful eye, he has another thing coming - but not because she thinks he's the sort of man prone to telling tall tales of his sexual conquests.
