1. How long have you been with Riftwatch? Several years, and the Inquisition before that.
2. What is the most dramatic thing that has ever happened to Riftwatch? I am not a dramatist, but I would think the efforts to save the people of Starkhaven would be reasonably dramatic.
3. What is Riftwatch's greatest triumph? Surely an organization at war will not rest on any triumphs less than winning the war itself. Our greatest triumph would thus lie ahead of us.
4. What should be the play’s genre? Were I a playwright, I suppose I would consider what genre would attract the largest audience.
5. If you had to pick a protagonist, or main character, from Riftwatch’s ranks, who would it be? (You can nominate yourself, or someone who isn’t here anymore.) Why? There are many admirable individuals in the organization, but I would think a member of the Forces division would be logical if you wished to stage the battle for Starkhaven. Perhaps one of us trained to ride griffons would give the opportunity for a stage effect that would make an impression.*
6. Who is the villain? Obviously Corypheus.*
7. How about comic relief? I imagine you will have a sense of your own.
8. Any other notable characters among the people you know or have known? Of course everyone in Riftwatch is doing their best to contribute.
9. Have there been any great romances in Riftwatch? I'm afraid I do not pay much attention to that sort of thing.
10. Great tragedies? People die in wars. I imagine you can make a meal of that in your drama if you wish to.
11. If an actor should portray you in the production, what is most important for them to get right? If it were up to me, I would choose someone with a dignified bearing. And someone who would not make a mess of a Nevarran accent would be preferable. I assume they will need to fight on stage, so perhaps some combat training, so they do not look ridiculous.*
12. If one person in Riftwatch were to have a cameo in the play who should it be? I am sure, again, you will be able to tell who has a compelling manner from your interviews with them.
13. Do you have any great song ideas? Perhaps if you give me a day or so, I could get back to you. [deadpan enough that it's hard to tell whether this is sarcasm]
14. How do you think the story should end? I should imagine emphasizing the company's skill and determination would please a crowd.
15. Any other comments? I am afraid I am required elsewhere, but I wish you good luck with your project.
Thibault's inevitable follow-up after Kostos (asterisks suggestions but not required)
