A slight sigh comes to pass from Sauveterre's lips at the mention of Commander Cullen. He suspects that the conversation between Baratheon and Cullen shan't fair too well given Stannis unique fondness for blunt honesty. However, there's no sugarcoating the scene transpiring before them.
"Once again, Mage and Templar are at odds." A hint of true distaste lingers in his words as he regards the all too palpable taste of bitterness hanging within the air. His grey gaze fall upon Stannis again. "If we here to put an end to such things, then mayhaps us speaking to Commander Cullen is best." Only the Maker knows what Stannis will say otherwise but Alayre wishes not to pry too much. Stannis is his equal and as such, Sauveterre shan't treat him otherwise.
"T'was Commander Cullen who stood before Meredith, was it not? You shan't need much to sway him, Baratheon. He should already be well aware of the animosity brewing. How couldn't he since Kirkwall?"
