[With everything he's went through there are few things now that can actively spook Bruce, but this? This is most definitely one of them. The words hit too close to the things he wants to keep hidden, even as convoluted as they are. But that doesn't matter because the meaning--the meaning is all too clear to him. He can't shut his eyes and close his ears to pretend he doesn't know what the strange boy is getting at. He knows. He knows all too well.
