fleurdesel: center, sad, serious (This isn't how it should be)

Footsteps are uncommon at this time of night- most have found their place to rest and have passed out from the day's work. It makes keeping an eye out for any potential trouble all the simpler with how everything seems to echo when the hold is still. It's more than enough for her to be looking up from her book long before Sam calls her name- a cursory check.

Not a templar, not trouble.

She returns to her book having assessed the lack of a potential threat, looking up again when her name is called. "...Sam, wasn't it?"

Mages all keep tabs one one another here- Adelaide a little more intensely so. If any went missing? She would be aware of it and have those responsible held accountable. Thusfar it hasn't been a problem- besides. Sam's the strange mage that works the forge. And is fairly tall. Not hard to remember him.
